CAUD maintenance work will interrupt service in areas of city And - a heads up: customers in South Adair will see hydrants running, flushing lines - no need to be alarmed by water gushing from hydrants, CAUD announce. Flushing of lines in South End of County will be done at night, in order to maintain pressure in peak use, day time hours. By Jennifer Carter Columbia/Adair Utilities District will be flushing lines and doing maintenance work next week. On Monday, October 27, 2014 Stotts Construction will be doing maintenance on lines. During this time customers will be out of water on the following streets: Stults Street, Greensburg Street from Stults Street to Dillon Street and from Dillon Street to Clinton Street.Monday through Wednesday, October 27 to October 29, 2014, 8pm-4pm CT Columbia Adair Utilities District will be flushing lines 8pm-4amCT on KY 768 from Glens Fork to Highway 1952 and KY 704 from the beginning to 9095 Fairplay Road. If you notice someone during these hours where we have flush valves know they are only flushing lines and should be in a company marked truck.
