LWC Men's Soccer rises to No. 8 in NAIA Coaches’ Top-25 Poll

Lindsey Wilson is the only Mid-South Conference team ranked in the top-25.

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's soccer team rose one spot in the recently released NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll to eighth, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.


The Blue Raiders (10-2-1, 5-0-1 MSC) are receiving 456 voting points, six behind seventh-ranked Texas at Brownsville.

The poll features a new number one this week as Rio Grande (Ohio) jumped from third to first. Rio Grande is receiving 553 voting points and 12 first-place votes, while MidAmerica Nazarene (Kan.) holds at number two with 530 voting points and six first-place votes. Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) sits in third with 523 voting points and one first-place vote.

The Blue Raiders are 47 points ahead of ninth-ranked Indiana Wesleyan (409).

Lindsey Wilson's next match is Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. CT at Georgetown (KY)
