Hawes named MSC Men's Soccer Defensive Player of Week Blue Raider Men's Soccer at Georgetown (Ky) 7pmCT Wednesday, October, 22, 2014, Georgetown College Soccer Complex 400 E College Street (Campus address) Georgetown, KY 40324 By Tyler Scott COLUMBIA, KY - Lindsey Wilson men's soccer goalkeeper Dalyan Hawes earned Mid-South Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors, the conference office announced on Monday, 20 Oct 2014. Hawes recorded a pair of shutouts in two Lindsey Wilson wins last week to earn Mid-South Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. The Johannesburg, South Africa, sophomore goalkeeper stopped all four shots he faced in Lindsey Wilson's 1-0 win at NCAA Division II Flagler (FL) on October15, 2014. Hawes backed up the Flagler win with his sixth shutout of the season in a 3-0 win over Pikeville (KY) on Sunday 19 Oct 2014. Hawes leads the Mid-South Conference and ranks 12th in the NAIA with a 0.72 goals against average. With last week's two shutouts, Hawes now leads the conference in clean sheets. This is the fourth defensive player of the week honor for Hawes this season. Ninth-ranked Lindsey Wilson improved to 10-2-1 overall and 5-0-1 in the MSC with last week's win. The Blue Raiders wrap up conference regular season play this week as they travel to Georgetown (KY) on Wednesday.
