Three Amigo's have highly successful trip to see Alison, Hillary Adair Countians conduct themselves properly and have nothing to fear. Miss Victoria says fellow Amigo Pam Shearer likely only Adair Countian to have met both Hillary and Bill in the same year! Importantly, Adair County can hold its head high knowing that these Democrat Women comported themselves with dignity, with matching footwear on each pair of feet. By Victoria Pike Cynthia Rowe, Pam Shearer, and Vicky Pike represented Adair County Democrat Women last evening at a rally at the Convention Center for Alison Lundergan Grimes. Special guest speaker was Hillary Clinton, former First Lady of the United States, who brought the house down when she stepped onto the stage. We arrived early and were only nine rows back from the stage. As soon as the last speaker finished Miss Pam leaped from her seat and headed for the front to greet our former first lady to the Bluegrass state. This makes her one of the few folks in Adair County who have been able to meet both Former President Bill Clinton and former First Lady, Hillary Clinton this year. Pam was also able to get an autograph from Hillary at the Makers Mark Distillery in Loretto Ky a few years ago and earlier this year got an autograph from Mr. Clinton at a function we attended. On a lighter note, attire was in order and our shoes matched for those who might be worried. - Victoria Pike This story was posted on 2014-10-16 20:31:09
