COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson volleyball team appeared as the eighth-ranked team in the latest edition of the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, as announced on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.



By rising to the No. 8 spot with 484 voting points, the Blue Raiders (23-2, 8-0 Mid-South Conference) match the highest ranking in program history to date. Last year's squad achieved this distinction in the October 1, 2013 poll.

As far as the remainder of the top-25 goes, Rocky Mountain (MT) maintains its claim as the top-ranked team in the land with 653 points as well as all 23 first-place votes.

The rest of this week's top five consists of Concordia (CA) (623), Park (MO) (613), Texas at Brownsville (590) and Biola (CA) (570). Also representing the MSC is Georgetown (KY) in 17th with 316 voting points. Additionally, St. Catharine (KY) received 50 votes but remains outside the top 25.
