Lowell C. Patton, Dunnville, KY (1941-2014)

He was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Herbert C. and Opal Helm Patton. His soulmate and mother of his daughter, Freda Garrett, survives. He leaves two direct living descendants. He was a Vietnam Army veteran and will be receive military honors at committal services. He attended Union Chapel Baptist Church. Lowell enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Lowell C. Patton, 73, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at his home in Dunnville, KY.

Funeral services are at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, October 12, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton officiating. Mr. Patton will be laid to rest in Salem Cemetery with military honors. Visitation is 1pm-4pmCT/2pm-5pmET, Saturday, October 11, 2014 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.


Lowell C. Patton, Dunnville, KY (1941-2014)


Born Sunday, August 17, 1941 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Herbert C. and Opal Helm Patton. He died Thursday, October 9, 2014, in Dunnville, Casey County, KY, at the age of 73 years, one month, and 23 days.

He was a Vietnam Army veteran and attended Union Chapel Baptist Church. Lowell enjoyed fishing and woodworking.

Survivors include his soulmate and mother of his daughter, Freda Garrett of Dunnville, KY and the following:
  • Daughter: Rhonda Patton Garrett of Dunnville, KY

  • One grandson: Ritchie Livengood

  • A brother: Otis Patton of Dunnville, KY

  • One sister: Ruby Clements of Liberty. KY

  • And a host of other loving family members, Marshall (Dominique) Garrett, Roger Garrett, Jessica Eads, Linda Ellis, and Nellie Cochran and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to Hospice of Lake Cumberland in memory of Lowell C. Patton.
