He was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late John Roe & Ethel Floyd Frost. His wife, Pauline Holtzclaw Frost, survives. He was a heavy equipment operator.

Joe David Frost, 64, of Russsell Springs, died Saturday, October 4, 2014 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.

Funeral service for Joe David Frost will be 11amCT, Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Tony Stephens officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Monday, October 6, 2014. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery.

He was born Monday, July 31, 1950 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late John Roe & Ethel Floyd Frost. He died Saturday, October 4, 2104, in Danville, Boyle County, KY, at the age of 64 years, two months, and four days.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Lyman, John Irvin, and Robert Frost.

Survivors include his wife, Pauline Holtzclaw Frost, and the following:
  • Two sisters: Delilah Frost, Somerset, KY; and Mildred Bradshaw, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two brothers: Gary Frost and Larry Frost, both of Russell Springs, KY
