Thanks, from Mr. Reed for feedback on turnaround on State Tests

ACHS now ranks in top 1/3 in Kentucky; Adair County Middle School nearly doubled its scores

By Alan W. Reed

Our sincere thanks is extended to all Adair Countians for the tremendous feedback and showing of support today for the Adair County High School students, faculty and staff for an incredible performance turnaround on the state tests. Our high school now ranks in the top 1/3 in Kentucky. The same goes for Adair County Middle School which nearly doubled its scores. I am thrilled to see everyone recognize that our school system is on the move and is a bright spot in the community. Look out, this is only the beginning!

We have had an out-pouring of local support today. I can never say enough positive things about this county and the teachers and support staff, parents, and the students who make up our school system. We appreciate every one of you. While we celebrated for a few moments late this afternoon, we know there is much work to do. We have made a solemn vow to never let any forthcoming generation down. --Alan Reed, Superintendent, Adair County School
