News from the Adair County Garden Club

I would like to thank the Mayor and his staff for all the much needed work that they have done at the Trabue-Russell House, 201 Jamestown Street, Columbia, KY.

They replaced the front porch that was in very bad shape and they fixed the crumbling wall along the rose garden.

It is so nice now and no one would be afraid to walk through the garden.

We mulched around the front porch and got some of the mulching done in the rose garden.

The hedge area with the new brick wall has been mulched.

So thank you Mayor Mark Harris and City Clerk Rhonda Loy for all your help.

We may be few, but we enjoy the work and the way it makes the Trabue House look. - Lila Loy
