Capt. Grider will be carried home by In Support of Heroes vehicle

Next earlier story: CU President Carter asks prayers for Capt. Grider's family

Word has reached us from David Martin that Capt. Grider will be carried home to Columbia, KY in an "In Support of Heroes" vehicle. The exact time of departure was not sure but the route is known.

A procession, including units from Adair and Taylor Counties, and others will travel south on I-65 through Shepherdsville, Lebanon Junction, and Elizabethtown.

The procession will travel the Lincoln Parkway through Hodgenville, then come south of KY 206 through Campbellsville, KY and then on to Columbia. In Columbia, the procession will move slowly around the Historic Adair County Courthouse then back north to Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Entry will be by way of the front door of the funeral Home.

Many will be lining the route from Hodgenville to Columbia, and are invited to do so.
