Mattie Dixon passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her home in Louisville, KY. She was 62.

Graveside services are 12pmCT/1pmET, Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Thomastown Cemetery in Casey County, KY, with Bro. Clifford DeHart officiating. Burial will follow service. There will be no visitation.

Born Thursday, January 17, 1952 in Salina, Saline County, Kansas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Glenn and Marge Hoeffner Winnes. She died Tuesday, September 9, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 62 years, seven months, and 23 days.

She was a homemaker. She loved to read and she loved her animals. She danced to her own music. Survivors include her husband, Audie L. Dixon, of Louisville, KY, and the following:
  • Three step-sons: Audie Dixon, Jr., Micha Dixon, and Mason "Bubby" Dixon all of Louisville, KY

  • Two daughters: Stephanie Adams Beckwith and Dawn Ashmore both of Arkansas

  • Two grandchildren: Cavin Beckwith and Elijah Adams

  • Brother: Bob Winnes of Arkansas

  • Three sisters: Georgia McGrew, Connie Kronable and Cathy Marsh all of Arkansas.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Bill Adams. Send a condolence to the family of Mattie Dixon
