Adair Fiscal Court approves own rate; accepts taxing units' rates

At the Tuesday, September 9, 2014 regular meeting of Adair Fiscal Court, the court unanimously approved the presentation its own Tax Rates, 7-0 after which the court heard from each of the taxing Districts. Tax rates for this year are as follows:


Adair County General. (Compensating) Presented by Gayle Cowan
Real Property: 13.3; Tangible, 18.41; Motor Vehicle, 11.20; Watercraft, 11.20


Adair County Library District (Same) Presented by Lee Ann Jessee
Real Property: 5.3; Tangible, 5.52; Motor Vehicle, 3.68; Watercraft, 3.68


Adair County Extension District (Compensating) Presented by Tony Rose
Real Property: 4.40; Tangible, 7.44; Motor Vehicle, 2.90; Watercraft, 2.90


Adair County Soil Conservation District (Compensating) Presented by Jason Grider
Real Property: 1.70; Tangible, ---; Motor Vehicle, ---; Watercraft, ---


Adair County Public Health District (Same) Presented by Angela Dye.
Real Property: 3; Tangible, 3; Motor Vehicle, 3; Watercraft, 3


Adair County Ambulance District (4% increase) Presented by Tony Bragg

Adair County Public Hospital District. (No Change) presented by Neal Gold

- Tax rates are expressed in cents per $100 of value.
- Documented Watercraft will be taxed.

- Adair County Ambulance District will hold public hearing on September 26, 2014.
