Corn Maze at Green River opens Saturday, September 13, 2014

Most of the work on the maze was sponsored by Friends of Green River Lake and the park. The maze, at the entrance of Green River Lake State Park, will be open 7amCT/8amET until dark from September 13, 2014 through the end of October.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - Green River Lake State Park and a group of volunteers are honoring the 90th anniversary of Kentucky State Parks with a unique corn maze design that opens September 13, 2014.



The maze, located near the park entrance, looks like the state park logo from the air. Most of the work on the maze was donated and the project is sponsored by the park and the Friends of Green River Lake.

There is no charge for admission, but the friends group will accept donations from visitors.

The maze will be open from 7amCT/8amEt until dark from September 13 through the end of October.

Green River Lake State Park, south of Campbellsville, has a campground, boating and fishing on an 8,200-acre lake, and 25 miles of hiking and horseback trails. Call 270-465-8255 for information.
