To the citizens of Adair Co, from Senator-Elect Max Wise

Senator-Elect Max Wise makes official response:

I was blindsided this morning by an article appearing on Columbia Magazine stating that I would be participating in a press conference in Columbia with Adair Co Judge Executive Candidate Mike Stephens & various other elected officials. At no time was I made aware of a press conference that I was scheduled to be a part of. The article that appeared this morning was the first time I was made aware of such an event. I am very upset at the lack of responsibility on the part of those who published such a story without checking their facts. I am not in the game of endorsing candidates, but rather being one that serves the people with integrity. I have spoken with all parties involved, to include current Judge Executive Ann Melton and other constituents about my frustration with how this article was presented without my knowledge. Thank you for allowing me to present my side of the situation. Respectfully, - Max Wise, 16th District KY State Senator-Elect

The original story on CM to which Senator Elect wise refers to above was corrected as soon as we were contacted by Larry Smith and by Senator Wise. Senator Wise informed us earlier that this statement would be forthcoming. - EW
