Sue Estes, Metcalfe County, KY (d. Aug. 28, 1914)

She was the daughter of the late Taylor Romines and Mary Corbin Romines. Her husband, Hyman "Silk" Estes, survives. She was a homemaker and member of the Red Lick United Methodist Church.

Sue Estes age 70 of Edmonton, KY, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1pmCT Sunday, August 30, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, in Edmonton, KY with burial in the Jessee Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, August 30, 2014, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of the late Taylor Romines and Mary Corbin Romines.

She was a homemaker and member of the Red Lick United Methodist Church.

  • She is survived by her husband: Hyman “Silk” Estes of Edmonton

  • One sister: Ruby Jessee of Edmonton, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters; Aline York, Vernon Marie Romines, Anderson T. Romines and Nelson Romines.
