Darren Thomas Moore age 35 years of Columbia, KY, passed away suddenly Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 8:44pmET at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Steeve Willis the officiating clergy. Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. The family requests visiting after 5pmCT on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.

He was born in Columbia, Adair County, KY on Tuesday, November 15, 1978 the son of Larry Thomas Moore and Caroline Burton Moore. He died in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, Thursday, August 28, 2014, at the age of 35 years, nine months, and and 13 days.

He was preceded in death by his father Larry Thomas Moore in 1996, He is survived by his mother, Caroline Burton Moore of Columbia, KY, and the following:
  • Two sisters: Karen Page & husband Lonnie of Columbia, KY; Melissa Carter and husband Paul of Columbia, KY
  • Four nieces: Megan (Chris) Harrison, Andrea Page, Kristin (Colin) Jacobson, and Kimberlynn Carter

  • Two great nieces and one great nephew
Darren was an avid UK fan.
