Ramp closure: KY 245 to I-65 North in Bullitt Co., August 15-18

Louisville, KY (August 12, 2014) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 5 Office advises motorists that the entrance ramp from KY 245 to northbound Interstate 65 will be closed this weekend for concrete pavement repairs. This ramp is scheduled for closure from 8pmCT/9pmET on Friday, August 15, 2014, until 4pmCT/5amET, on Monday, August 18, 2014.



Motorists should follow the signed detour via westbound KY 245 to northbound KY 61 to eastbound KY 480. They can access northbound I-65 at Shepherdsville.

This work is part of a $20.7 million project for removal and replacement of various sections of concrete pavement across a 20-mile section of I-65. Construction began in March and is scheduled for completion by the end of 2014.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Dial 511 or log on to 511.ky.gov for the latest in traffic and travel information in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
