Beautiful Moth found on breezeway on Birch Lane, Adair Co., KY

2014-07-27 - Birch Lane, East Adair Co., KY - Photo by Tommy Bailey.
Tommy Bailey sends this picture and writes that he found the beautiful moth taking a break in his breezeway at his home on Birch Lane in East Adair County last Thursday morning, July 24, 2014. He and CM will appreciate any help on the ID for the moth, a stunningly pretty creature, which may or may not be desirable in its other life stages. Anyone? Update: Nancy Hadley Identifies this as a "Rosy Maple Moth." Click Read More for her letter.
