He was a native of Cumberland County, KY, and a resident of Clark County, IN, at the time of his death. He was the son of Joseph Eugene and Linda Jean Bell Poindexter, who survive. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, July 28, 2014 at 1pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Liberty Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends after 11amCT, on Monday, July 28, 2014 until the funeral hour at 1pmCT. He died Friday, July 25, 2014, in Jeffersonville, Clark County, IN, at the age of 61 years, four months, and 16 days. He was a sheet metal worker for Manitowoc in Sellersburg, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Jean Bell Poindexter and his son, Larry Poindexter. He is survived by the following:
