Mrs. Geraldine Davenport Hamilton, age 93, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, a native of Green County, passed away Monday at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Geraldine Davenport Hamilton will be conducted at 2pmCT, Thursday, July 24, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Davenport Cemetery. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Thursday until time of the funeral service.

She was born June 6, 1921. She died July 21, 2014, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 93 years, one month, and 15 days.

Survivors include:
  • A daughter and son-in-law: Shirley Lee and Billy Gordon Wright of Green County, KY

  • .
  • Two granddaughters: Greta Lynn Wright of Greensburg, KY; and Phyllis Lee and her husband Glen Williams of Campbellsville, KY

  • A great-grandson: Christopher Vaughn Williams of Campbellsville, KY

  • A brother: Mitchell Adrian Davenport of Illinois
Memorials are suggested to the Gideon Bible Fund, or the Davenport Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
