Driver also dies as result of Russell Co., KY Parkway accident

RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY. - 55-year-old Dana Bell died Monday, July 14, 2014 as a result of injuries sustained in Sunday’s collision, which occurred Sunday, July 13, 2014, at approximately 4:15pmCT on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, 9 miles east of Russell Springs.



Dana Bell, of Louisville, was traveling west on the Parkway operating a 1997 Toyota. The vehicle dropped off the side of the roadway and Bell overcorrected and lost control. The car crossed both lanes of travel, exited the roadway and flipped multiple times before coming to rest on a hillside.

A passenger, Kenneth Bell was pronounced dead at the scene. At the time, Dana Bell had been airlifted to the UK Medical Center and was listed in critical condition on Sunday, but died there Monday.
