Fatality collision occurs on LBN, 9 miles E. Russell Springs, KY

1997 Toyota leaves roadway, drives overcorrects and loses control. Vehicle crosses both lanes of travel, exits roadway, and flips several times before coming to a rest on hillside. Occupants unbelted. Passenger pronounced dead at the scene. Driver airlifted to UK Medical Center in Lextington, KY.

RUSSELL SPRINGS, KY - Tpr. Adam Likins is investigating a collision that occurred today at approximately 4:15pmCT on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, 9 miles east of Russell Springs. 55-year-old Dana Bell, of Louisville, was traveling west on the Parkway operating a 1997 Toyota.

Bell and a passenger, 54-year-old Kenneth Bell, of Louisville were not wearing seatbelts. Kenneth Bell was pronounced dead at the scene. Dana Bell was airlifted to the UK Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.

Tpr. Likins was assisted at the scene by Russell County EMS and Coroner's Office. The investigation is ongoing.
