Mildred Carol Fulkerson, 61, of Louisville, died Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Saints Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Funeral service, Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Burial in Adair County at Freedom Cemetery, Freedom Cemetery, 576 Freedom Church Road, Russell Springs, KY. Visitation on from 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, Monday, July 14, 2014 at Ratterman Grand Chapels, 4832 Cane Run Road, Louisville and Wednesday after 9amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, Columbia, KY.

Mildred Carol Fulkerson, Adair Co., KY (1953-2014)

She was born Saturday, January 24, 1953, in Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Lester Kelsay and Elzora Corbin Butler. She died Friday, July 11, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 61 years, five months, and 18 days.

Survivors include:
  • Her loving husband of 41 years, Wendell G. Fulkerson of Louisville, KY

  • Two children: David Fulkerson & Tammy Lynn Fulkerson (Jeffrey Coater) all of Louisville

  • Three brothers: Charles Kelsay of Russell Springs, KY; Eugene Kelsay of Edinburgh, IN, and Joe Todd Butler of Russell Springs, KY

  • One step-brother: David L. Butler of Columbia, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Anthony Fulkerson-Jones, Christopher Andrew Jones (Kaytlyn Prewitt), Austin & Zachary Jones
