Funeral services for Mrs. Dixie Mae Buckner Hagan will be conducted 12 noon Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at the Haley-McGinnis and Owensboro Funeral Home, 519 Locust Street, Owensboro, KY with burial in the Rosehill Cemetery, 1300 Old Hartford Road, Owensboro, KY. Visitation will be from 10amCT until the funeral hour at 12 noon CT at Haley-McGinnis and Owensboro Funeral Home. Dixie Hagan, Green County, KY (1941-2014) Mrs. Dixie Mae Buckner Hagan was born March 25, 1941 in Green County, KY. She was the dauughter of the late Robert Lee and Mollie Curry Buckner. She departed this life Friday, July 4, 2014, in Owensboro, Daviess County, KY, having attained the age of 73 years, three months and 11 days. She was a member of the Walnut Memorial Baptist Church and New Life Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, crafts, collecting dolls and playing on the computer. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons: John Robert Hagan ad Michael Scott Hagan and one brother: Billy Buckner. She is survived by her husband, Hardin Hagan, and the following:
