Donald Luttrell, Russell County, KY (1934-2014)

He was retired from the US Navy having served 25 years. He was also a bus driver for the Russell County School System. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He was a native of Casey County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Arnett & THelma Rea Holt Luttrell. His wife, Lillian Louise Luttrell, survives. He leaves 15 direct living descendants.

Donald Lee Luttrell, 79, of Russell Springs, KY, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs.

Funeral services for Donald Lee Luttrell will be 10amCT, Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Tony Stephens officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery.

Donald Luttrell, Russell County, KY (1934-2014)

He was born September 22, 1934 in Casey County, KY. He was the son of the late Arnett & Thelma Rea Holt Luttrell. He died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at the age of 79 years, nine months, and nine days.

He was retired from the US Navy having served 25 years. He was also a bus driver for the Russell County School System. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.>BR?>BR? In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Burton.

Survivors include his wife Lillian Louise Luttrell, Russell Springs, KY, and the following;
  • Three daughters: Teresa "Terry" Lynn Morrison and her husband, Claude; Donna Louise Luttrell, and Dawn Renee' Shaw and her husband, Darrell, all of Russell Springs, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Five great grandchildren

  • Brother: Ronnie Luttrell and his wife, Oleda, Russell Springs, KY
