2014 Adair Co. Fair: Mister and Miss Sunshine Pageant


CM Coverage: 2014 Adair Co. Fair Schedule of Events



Thursday, July 10th, at 6:30 p.m. Central Time in the New Pavilion.

Rules
  1. There will be no admission charge for the contestants to enter the fairgrounds. All parents/caregivers will be required to pay.
  2. An entry fee of $5.00 per contestant will be charged if received by Thursday, July 3, 2014. Entries will be accepted after July 3 with the entry fee being $15.00.
  3. Contestants will be judged individually in their group, either Mister or Miss. The Mister Pageant will be immediately following the Miss Pageant.
  4. Contestants will be judged on appearance, love for life and community.
  5. Contestants must be Adair County, Kentucky residents and have a developmental disability diagnosis.
  6. There is no age limit to enter.
  7. Contestants must wear age appropriate casual wear: dress, shorts, capris, pants and shirt, etc.
  8. Miss winner will receive a crown and a sash. Mister winner will receive a scepter. All contestants will receive a participation award.
  9. Applications will be received until Thursday, July 3, 2014 by hand delivery or mailed to: Anita Clark c/o Flowers N Things, 310 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY 42728
  10. Late entries will be accepted at the fairgrounds at 5:15pm day of event.
  11. A contestant will be disqualified from the competition if information is falsified on application.
  12. Judges decisions will be final.

All contestants should arrive by 5:30 pm the day of the pageant to finalize registration. They will meet at the Metal Building in the fairgrounds.

Contestant may dress in the building behind the stage, (remember boys and girls will be in one room). Only two caregivers with the contestant may be in dressing room... sorry for any inconvenience but we are limited on space.

Each contestant may choose to have someone walk the stage with them.
