2014 Adair Co. Fair: Miss Pre-Teen Pageant

Monday, July 7, at 8:00 p.m. Central Time in the Jaycee Pavilion.

Rules
  1. Contestants are required to be at the fairgrounds at least 30 minutes before the pageant is scheduled to start.
  2. Pageant is open to all Kentucky county residents
  3. An entry fee of $30.00 per contestant will be charged until Thursday, July 3, 2014. YOU MAY REGISTER THE NIGHT OF THE PAGEANT FROM 6:00 TO 7:00 P.M. HOWEVER, THE FEE WILL BE DOUBLED. Make checks payable to: Adair County Fair Association.
  4. Contestants must have reached her 8th birthday by July 1, 2014 and cannot have reached her 13th birthday by November 1, 2014.
  5. Contestants will be judged in a long age appropriate dress. No formal dressing rooms.
  6. The winner will be crowned Miss Pre-Teen Adair County Fair 2014. Winner will be awarded entry fee and one night rooms expense to represent Adair County at the Miss Kentucky Pre-Teen County Fair Pageant to be held in October of 2014 in Louisville, KY and sponsored by the Kentucky Association of Fair and Horse Shows.
  7. The winner will receive $40.00, crown, arm bouquet, and trophy.
  8. The first runner up will receive $30.00, and a trophy. The Second runner up will receive $25.00 a trophy and a ribbon.
  9. If at least three Adair County residents enter the pageant, we will choose a Miss Pre-Teen Adair County (a local representative.) Winner will receive a crown, sash, flowers and a trophy. She will be selected from the Adair County resident contestants. Contestants must have attended at least one year in the Adair County School System or be registered to attend in the fall to be eligible to be in the Miss Pre-Teen Adair County contest. If an Adair County representative wins the overall title, this title will be given to the next Adair county representative. Miss Pre-Teen Adair County Fair will represent Adair County at the State Pageant, not Miss Pre-Teen Adair County.
  10. Entry forms, entry fees, and a copy of each contestant's birth certificate must be postmarked and mailed to Susan Perkinson at Flowers N'Things, 310 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY 42728 or delivered to Susan in person by Thursday, July 4, 2014. If you win and go to state , you must have a copy of birth certificate or you will be disqualified.
  11. Judge's decision will be final.
  12. No refund on entry fee.
  13. The contestant will be disqualified from the competition and forfeit any ribbons, prize money, or other winnings if information is falsified on application.
  14. Everyone must pay to enter the Fairground and parking fees where they apply.
  15. When registering for the pageant, please bring correct change or write a check. No change will be available.
