2014 Adair Co. Fair: Little Mister and Miss Pageant

Monday, July 7th, at 7:15 p.m. in the Jaycee Pavilion
  • All contestants should arrive by 6:00 p.m. the day of the pageant to finalize registration. They will meet at the Metal Building in the fairgrounds.
  • Each contestant will talk to the judges.
  • The winners will participate at the state level.
  • Contestant may dress in the building behind the stage, however only one parent with the contestant may be in dressing room, if more is found the contestant will be disqualified... Please take all personal belongings with you when contestants begin lining up as the next scheduled pageant girls will begin dressing at this time... sorry for any inconvenience but we are limited on space.


Rules
  1. An entry fee of $25.00 per contestant will be charged, (total of $50.00 per couple) if received by Thursday, July 3, 2014. A late fee of $50.00 per individual will be charged for late entries ($100.00 per couple).
  2. Contestants will be judged as a couple.
  3. Contestants must have reached his or her 5th birthday by June 30, 2014 and not have reached his or her 8th birthday by June, 30, 2014.
  4. Contestants may wear either pageant or Sunday dress. Either is acceptable. Pageant wear is not required at the State Pageant. Boys will wear Sunday attire.
  5. Winners will represent the Adair County Fair during Fair Day in August, in Louisville, KY. Winners will compete as a couple at State, and entry fees for state competition will be paid for by the Adair County Jaycees Fair. All other expenses will be paid for by the contestants and their parents.
  6. Winners will receive $25.00 cash award and a trophy. Girl winner will receive a crown and a sash. Boy winner will receive a medallion. Runner-up will be expected to represent Adair County in case the winners cannot attend the State Fair.
  7. All contestants will receive participation trophies.
  8. All entry applications, entry fees, and a copy of birth certificates for each contestant must be received by Ms. Susan Perkinson by Thursday, July 3, 2014.

  10. Judges decisions will be final.
  11. The contestant will be disqualified from the competition and forfeit any ribbons, prize money, or other winnings if information is falsified on application.
  12. Contestant must have birth certificate to show if you win and to participate in the State Fair.
