Shorty Anderson, age 68, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 1amET, Thursday, June 19, 2014, in Campbellsville, KY.

The funeral service will be at 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Charlie Wright. Visitation willl be after 9amCT/10amET, Sunday, June 22, 2014 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, Burial will be in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.



Shorty Anderson, Taylor County, KY (1945-2014)


Shorty Anderson of Campbellsville, KY was the son of the late Silas P. Anderson and Clarksie Claywell Anderson Sharp. He was born August 3, 1945, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died Thursday, June 19, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 10 months, and 16 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Whites Ridge General Baptist Church.

He was a retired heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son and daughter-in-law: Chris and Marty Anderson of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Morgan Anderson, Marcus Anderson and Tyler Anderson

  • Two brothers and two sisters: Buddy Anderson, Paul Anderson and wife, Frances and Agnes Sprowles of Campbellsville, KY; and Susan White and husband, Harold of Elk Horn, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Lavern Anderson, in infancy, February 14, 1945.
