Burial will be in the Murley Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 3pmCT, on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 until the funeral hour on Wednesday. Mrs. Jessie B. Riley Short, Burkesville, KY (1927-2014) She was born in Monroe County, Kentucky on Monday, April 11, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Bessie Blythe Riley. She died Monday, June 16, 204, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 87 years, 2 months, and 5 days. She was a seamstress for Bob Evans Manufacturing Corporation. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Short; her brother, Ervin Riley; her sister, Jewell Riley Riddle and her son-in-law, Tom Boston.
