Jacob Cappel, of Dunnville, KY, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2014, at his residence. He was 22.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10amCT/11amET, Thursday, June 19, 2014, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 21 S Wallace Wilkinson Boulevard, Liberty, KY, with Father Patrick Dolan officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, at St. Bernard Cemetery, by St. Bernard Church, 5075 KY 551, Liberty, KY in the Clementsville community of Casey County, KY. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with a Rosary Prayer service at 7pmCT/8pmET.

Born Friday, June 5, 1992, in Indianapolis, Marion County, IN, he is the son of Michael and Kimberly Huemmer Cappel. He died Friday, June 13, 2014, in Dunnville, KY, at the age of 22 years, 8 days.

Jacob was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Michael and Kimberly Huemmer Cappel of Dunnville, KY, and the following:
  • Brothers: Joshua (Abigail) Cappel of Indianapolis, IN; Mark Cappel of Washington, DC; and Joseph Cappel of Dunnville., KY

  • Sister: Katherine Cappel of Dunnville, KY

  • Paternal grandparents: John and Ruth Cappel of North Port, FL

  • Maternal grandparents: Leroy and Nancy Huemmer of Cincinnati, OH

  • and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins
