Barbara Dabney, Taylor County, KY (1941- 2014) She professed faith in Christ and was an active member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She had taught Sunday School for some 49 years. She was a graduate of Campbellsville College with a degree in psychology and sociology and a minor in education and attained a master's degree from Western Kentucky University in Education with an emphasis in Counseling. She was employed with Adanta for ten years. She and Irene Melton formed the Caregivers Support Group and she was a founder and Grand Marm of the Campbellsville Red Hatters "Hattitude" Club. She was named Central Kentucky News Journal's Woman of the Year in 2010. She was born November 23, 1941 in Elkhorn, Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Monday, June 9, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 72 years, 6 months, and 16 days.
