Driver airlifted from scene of accident, Saloma RD, Taylor Co., KY

From Taylor County Sheriff's Office, Campbellsville, KY.

The driver of a 2008 Ford Escape, was airlifted by Air Evac to University of Louisville Hospital, following an accident at around 4:50pmET, Sunday, June 8, 2014.

Alice Wolf, age 68, of Taylor County, was traveling north on Saloma Road when her vehicle ran off the right side of the road, taveled down the ditch line, ran through a fence, and struck a tree.



Ms. Wolf was trapped in her vehicle.

She was extracted by Taylor County Fire and rescue for multiple injuries and airlifted by Air Evac, who had landed near the accident site.

The investigating officer was TCSO Deputy Dickie Benningfield. - Taylor County Sheriff's Office
