Spears, 73, Cumberland Co., KY (1940-2014) Jewell was born on June 19, 1940 in Cumberland County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Andrew Spears and Roxie Willis Spears. She died Monday, June 2, 2014, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 73 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She was a former employee of Sulphur Creek Marina, and Hendricks Creek Resort. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Merrel Spears and Vada Thrasher, four brothers, Bill Spears, George Blaine "G.B." Spears, Hoy Spears, and Earl Spears.
