Erika Jean Graves, 44, of Lexington, Kentucky, formerly of Adair County, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 5:33pmCT, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Funeral service will be Friday, June 6, 2014 at 12pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Rev. James Jackson delivering the eulogy. Burial will be in Dudley Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Thursday, at the funeral home.


Erika Jean Graves, Adair County, KY (1970-2014)

She was born May 23, 1970, in Adair County, KY, to the late Clara Jean Graves. She died Sunday, June 1, 2014, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY at the age of 44 years, 9 days.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Stephen Alexander Allen Graves.

Erika was a member of Santa Fee Baptist Church and was employed as a Marketing Consultant.

Survivors include:
  • Her sister: Jackie Graves of Columbia, KY

  • Two aunts: Nina (Wilburn) Cheatham of Campbellsville, Mary Graves of Boston, MA

  • Three uncles: Ben (Anita) Graves of Boston, MA; Michael (Alice) Graves of Columbia, Ky: and Foster Graves of Columbia, KY

  • Her special friend: Byran Anderson of Lexington, KY; and his grandchildren

  • Three God-Children along with a host of other relatives & friends
