It was good to see everyone at the Farmers Market on the Square. The dogs had a good time playing with the kids which had two benefits: Now I know they are all good with children and it was great for the dogs to be socializing. - Peg Schaefer

New friends at the farmers market



2014-05-31 - Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY - Photo CM Staff Photo. Parker Bonifer was pup-tending, assisted by Phoenix McDaniel, for Sugarfoot Farm Rescue at the Farmers Market on the Square, Saturday, May 31, 2014. The duty was in Parker's Field of interest. He's considering being a veterinarian one day, with Purdue University one of his choices. Phoenix was at the market helping his grandfather, Darrell Bunnell with the Coview Farm booth. Sugarfoot was microchipping dogs and cats and giving away certificates for reduced rate spay and neuter procedures. - EW

Will, kid-tested, ready for adoption

Will, our Beagle/Corgi/Boxer mix puppy "Will," was kid-tested at the Farmers Market on the Square, Saturday, May 31, 2014, and is available for adoption. Will was very contented being held by attentive puppy tester Phoenix McDaniel, who took time away from his duties as a greeter at his grandfather's Coview Farms shop at the market to help with the puppies.
