He was the widower of Lois Ruth Hubbard Hutchison. He leaves 4 direct living descendants. He was a farmer and a member of the Egypt Christian Church

Robert A. "Bobby" Hutchison age 82 years of the Snake Creek Road, Columbia, KY passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at 9:05pmCT, at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral service at 10amCT, Thursday, May 29, 2014 Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton the officiating clergy. Interment in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1267 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. The family requests visiting after 4pmCT, on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.


Robert A (Bobby) Hutchison, Adair Co., KY (1932-2014)

He was born Tuesday, March 22, 1932 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late John Washington and Fannie Bett Brockman Hutchison. He died Monday, May 26, 2014, in Glasgow, Barren County, KY, at the age of 82 years, 2 months, and 4 days.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Ruth Hubbard Hutchison on August 10, 2000, and by one brother, Billy Hutchison and two sisters Ruth Ann Pederson and Ruby Worthington.

He is survived by the following:
  • One son: Larry Hutchison and wife Cheri of Columbia, KY

  • One brother; Eddie Hutchison of Columbia, KY

  • Three sisters; Maxine McGruder of Shepherdsville, KY; Jewell Sayer of Louisville, KY; and Sue Scott of Louisville, KY
  • Three grandchildren; Wesley Hutchison, Ross Hutchison, and Paige H. Nickel and husband Derek
Mr. Hutchison was a member of the Egypt Christian Church and a farmer.
