LWC's Espinoza, Morales and Charters earn NAIA Men's Tennis All-America Honors Morales earns his fourth-consecutive NAIA All-America honor By Charles Balcom News from Lindsey Wilson College Edberg Espinoza, Fabricio Morales and Francisco Charters have earned NAIA Men's Tennis All-America honors, the national office announced on Monday. Espinoza was named a First Team selection, Morales was named to the Second Team and Charters earned Honorable Mention honors. The trio helped the men's tennis program at Lindsey Wilson College reach the national quarterfinals before falling in a tightly contested match to Vanguard (Calif.) 5-4. Espinoza concluded his 2014 season with an 11-5 singles record playing primarily at the top-seeded position. He went an impressive 17-3 in doubles competition playing as the No. 2 and No. 3 seed. Morales earns his fourth-consecutive NAIA All-America Second Team honor this season. He posted an 18-4 singles record playing at the No. 2 and No. 3 position. Morales went 15-5 in doubles competition playing the majority of his matches as the top seed. Charters recorded an 11-4 singles record playing every match at the No. 4 position. Charters also went 15-5 in doubles competition as he partnered with Morales for every match. Lindsey Wilson finished the season with a 17-3 overall record, including winning the Mid-South Conference Tournament Championship for the 11th consecutive year.
