Bob Nance, 79, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 9:44amET, Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Campbellsville.

Graveside services were held at 2pmET, Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. Wesley Paul.



Bob Nance, Taylor County, KY (1935-2014)


Bob Nance of Campbellsville, KY, was the son of the late Claude H. Nance and Elna Goff Nance. He was born in Taylor County, Kentucky. March 23, 1935. He died Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Campbellsville, KY, at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 23 days.

He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired engineering technician with the United States Department of Agriculture for approximately thirty-nine years. He united in marriage to Alice Roberts August 25, 1955. Besides his wife, Alice Nance of Campbellsville, KY, he is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Tony Nance and wife, Teresa of Hopkinsville, KY; and Greta Jo Smith and husband, Steve of Frankfort, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Dani Smith and Clint Smith of Frankfort, KY

  • And many other relatives and friends
The family requests expressions of sympathy be donations to Hospice of Central Kentucky an dmay be made at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
