He died Thursday, May 15, 2014, in Campbellsville, KY, at the age of 79 years, 1 month, and 23 days. He professed faith in Christ and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired engineering technician with the United States Department of Agriculture for approximately thirty-nine years. He united in marriage to Alice Roberts August 25, 1955.
