She was a member of a much valued Adair County family, the daughter of Jim & Debbie Hoover Symmes, who survive. She was a 2011 graduate of Adair County High School and was a grill cook at Betty's OK Country Cooking in Columbia, KY.

Danielle Mae Symmes, age 21 years of Columbia, KY. died Wednesday May 14, 2014 at 2:30pmCT, at Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room, Columbia, KY, as the result of an automobile accident which occurred North of Columbia on Highway 61.

Funeral service Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 2pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, with Rev. Homer Stephens and Bro. Ralph Foster officiating. Interment in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 4:30pmCT, Friday, May 16, 2014 at the funeral home.

She was born on Thursday, February 18, 1993 in Noblesville, Hamilton County, IN. She was the daughter Jim & Debbie Hoover Symmes of Columbia, KY who survive. She died Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 21 years, 2 months, and 24 days.

Besides her parents she is survived by the following:
  • One brother: Richie Symmes of Columbia, KY

  • Her grandfather: Russell Heath of Campbellsville, KY

  • Boyfriend: Brandon Cary

  • Special friends: Devin Polk, Will McCarol, Aaron Smith, Eron Davis, Ruth Smith, Sharalene Garrett, and Katrina Mann

  • Her beloved dogs: Archiebald & Abby Jo

  • Half-brothers and half-sister: Jason Symmes, Justin Symmes and Bree Lynn Emberton

  • Several aunts, uncles and a host of other relatives and friends
She was a grill cook at Betty's OK Country Cooking.
