Gary Wayne Crumpton, age 56, of Austin, Ky died May 10, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1pmCT at the McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY, with cremation to follow. Visitation will begin, Monday May 12, 2014 at 2pmCT, at the funeral home.

He was born, Monday, May 27, 1957 in Barren County. He was the son of the late Rondal H. and Edna Earl Tarry Crumpton. He died Saturday, May 10, 2014, in Austin, Barren County, KY, at the age of 56 years, 11 months, and 14 days.

He worked in maintenance and was of the Baptist faith.

He is also survived by his wife, Kimberly Ann Whitehall Crumpton, and the following:
  • One son: Jimmy Wayne (Patti) Crumpton, Haywood, KY

  • One step-daughter: Nichole Zattau, Bowling Green, KY

  • Two sisters: Ronetta (Ronnie) Morgan, Glasgow, KY; and Loretta (Doug) Garmon, Knob Lick, KY

  • Three brothers: Danny (Lou) Crumpton, Austin, KY; Phillip (Susan) Crumpton, Glasgow, KY; and David (Sandy) Crumpton, Horse Cave, KY

  • Two step grandchildren

  • Three step great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents and step mother, Edna Earl Huff.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral fund.
