Sarah Jane Burton, 65, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at 4:17pmCT, at her residence

Funeral services are Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Bobby Withers officiating. Burial will be in Columbia Cemetery. 315 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY. Visitation is after 2pmCT, Monday, May 12, 2014, at the funeral home.

She was born October 28, 1948, in Adair County, to the late Johnnye & Annie Murrell Wilson. She died May 9, 2014, in Columbia, KY, at the age of 65 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

She was a member of Emory Chapel United Methodist Church and a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her companion, Charles Young on August 2, 2003.

Survivors include:
  • One son: Bobby (Tammy) Burton, Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Geneva Antle, Columbia, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Cody Dale Burton, Bobby Lee Burton, Sara Brooke Burton, Candace (Barry) Petty, Ashely (Brandon) Willis

  • Three grandchildren: Cody Dale Burton, Bobby Lee Burton, Sara Brooke Burton, Candace (Barry) Petty, and Ashely (Brandon) Willis

  • Several other relatives and friends
