Christa Rode, 83, formerly of Adair County, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at 1:05 A.M. at the Fair Oaks Nursing Home in Jamestown, KY.

Graveside services will be Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 3pmCT, in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, with burial to follow. There will be no visitation.

She was born Saturday, December 6, 1930, in Germany. She died Friday, May 9, 2014, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 83 years, 5 months, and 3 days.

She was a former nurse's aide and attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include:
  • One sister: Esther Kunz of Columbia, KY

  • A nephew : Frank Myers of Ohio
