Fred Lawson, 91, of Dunnville, KY, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 10, 2014.

Funeral Services at Wilson Funeral Home, at 9:30amCT, on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, visitation at 9amCT, on Tuesday, at Wilson Funeral Home, 391 E Steve Wariner Drive, Russell Springs, KY. Interment at Luttrell Cemetery Dunnville, KY.



Fred Lawson, Dunnville, KY, (1922-2014)


He was born on May 13, 1922. He was a son of the late Adele Lawson Chumbley and Fennymore Lawson. He died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the age of 91 years, 11 months, and 28 days.

He was of Baptist faith and served in the U.S. Air Force as a Master Sergeant, Stratigic Air Command. He was a highly decorated Veteran who served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam.

He is survived by the following:
  • His daughters: Sharon Lawson, of Dunnville, KY; Karen Pennington, of Louisville, KY

  • A son: Phillip Lawson, of Speedway, Indiana

  • A grandson: Lee Travis Pennington

  • A sister: Proxedia Owens, of Russell Springs, KY
