Iva Jewel Martin Winfield, 81, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at her home in Louisville, KY.

Funeral services are 12pm noon CT/1pmET, Saturday, May 10, 2014, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Ms. Winfield will be laid to rest in Glenwood Cemetery in Liberty, KY. Visitation is Saturday, May 10, 2014, from 11amCT/12pm noon CT, until funeral service.



Iva Jewel Martin Winfield, 81, Casey County, KY (1932-2014)

Born Tuesday, November 29, 1932 in Casey County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Solomon and Mae Flossie Gention Martin. She died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, at the age of 81 years, 5 months, and 8 days.

She was a secretary for the teamsters, attended Evangel Tabernacle while her health allowed, and continue to worship with Evangel Presents Live TV Ministry.

Survivors include:
  • Children: Sharon (Robert Whiteman) Winfield of Louisville, KY; and Richard (Debbie) Winfield of Florida

  • A special friend: James Patrick Winfield of Louisville, KY

  • Brothers: Jones Orvice Martin of Tennessee; and Luther Martin of Liberty, KY

  • And many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Louis and Lester Martin and sister, Maudline Haste.

In lieu of flowers, condolences in memory of Iva Jewel Martin Winfield can be made to Evangel World Prayer Center, 5400 Minors Lane, Louisville, KY40219.

Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
