BR> Funeral services for Daisy Edith Schackow will be 12pmCT, Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Delvin Wilson officiating. Friends may call after 6pmCT, Thursday, May 8, 2014. Burial in the Mill Springs National Cemetery 9044 W. Highway 80, Nancy, KY.

She was born Saturday, April 23, 1938 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Homer Grady & Omie Davis Foley Roy. She died Monday, May 5, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 12 days.

She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Luttrell and 2 brothers, Glendo Roy, and Junis Roy. Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Harold Daniel Schackow, Russell Springs, KY

  • Three children: Harold Walter Schackow, Russell Springs, KY; Kenneth Daniel Schackow, Russell Springs, KY; and Tammy Sue Warner, Liberty, KY.

  • Five grandchildren

  • Two great grandchildren

  • Sister: Linda Sue Bettens, Hodgenville, KY

  • Two brothers: Gilbert Roy, Illinois; and Walter Roy, Glasgow, KY
