Remembers 1971 storm night as though it were yesterday Linda Waggener writes: I remember the storm as if it were yesterday, fearful most of all for the safety of the tiny baby boy, Pen, who'd been entrusted to my care just a couple of months before. He and I spent the mostly sleepless night in Columbia where Pete and Edith Walker lived at that time while Pete and Ed went out to report on the damage. Thankfully we were all safe that night but we joined the community mourning those six who were lost. --lindaComments re article 66963 Six lost their lives in storm 43 years ago today __________________________________ This story was posted on 2014-04-28 21:49:19
