5 LW Men's Track/Field athletes earn MSC Academic honors

Jared Davenport, Daniel Farris, Ben Graham and John Updike receive the honor for the third-straight year

COLUMBIA, KY - Five Lindsey Wilson men’s track and field student-athletes earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, conference officials announced on Saturday, April 26, 2014.



Jared Davenport, Daniel Farris, Ben Graham, John Updike and John-Paul Williamson received the honor.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

Davenport and Updike are both seniors from Lawrenceburg, KY Davenport is a biology major and Updike is a criminal justice major. Farris, a senior from Louisville, KY, is a psychology major. Graham is a junior and psychology major from Cumberland, KY, and Williamson is a sophomore human services major from Derry, Ireland.

Davenport, Farris, Graham and Updike are all receiving the honor for the third-consecutive year. It is the first season Williamson has received the honor. - Charles Balcom The five student-athletes join 29 others from the Mid-South Conference receiving the honor.
