10 LW Women's Track/Field athletes earn MSC Academic honors Amanda Bland and Reini Brickson earn the award for the third time in their careers By Charles Balcom COLUMBIA, KY - Ten Lindsey Wilson women's track and field student-athletes earned Academic All Mid-South Conference honors, conference officials announced on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Amanda Bland, Reini Brickson, Maria Cozzens, Allyson Davis, Kaitlyn Davis, Katie Hartney, Angela Herbig, Kailey Moorhead, Chryslee Sherrill and Kaile Short all received the honor. Lindsey Wilson produced the most women's track and field honorees of any school in the Mid-South Conference. In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status. Bland and Brickson are receiving the honor for the third-consecutive year. Bland is a digital art and computer information systems major from Louisville, KY, and Brickson is a middle grades education major from Enon, Ohio. Kaitlyn Davis, Herbig and Hartney are all receiving the honor for the second time. Davis is an art education major from Berea, KY. Herbig is a psychophysiology major from Louisville, KY, and Hartney is a biology major from London, KY. Cozzens, Allyson Davis, Moorhead, Sherill and Short receive the honor for the first time in their careers.
