Tebbs Bend Education Day May 1, 2014

Guides in period costumes will appear along Tebbs Bend Driving Trail between Campbellsville and Columbia, KY. that day. Public invited to join tour.

By Betty Gorin Tebbs Bend Battlefield Association is holding its Education Day for Taylor Connty Middle School students and the public on Thursday, May 1. The tour starts at 7:30amCT/8:30amET, at the Atkinson-Griffin House Confederate Hospital at Green River Lake Visitors Center, 544 Lake Road, Campbellsville, KY.



Guides dressed in costume will appear along the Tebbs Bend Driving Trail between Campbellsville and Columbia. The tour will conclude at the Confederate Cemetery at 11:30amCT/12:30pmET.

Cost $5 per person. If someone from the public attends, they will be asked to follow the school buses in their car and make various stops along the way. - BETTY GORIN
